Day 50

Strength training today: I had a terrible day.  Couldn't get under my squats and kept lowering the weight, kept using my back for deadlifts, low weights with everything.  Then I went to play basketball and shot around for a bit, bricked everything.  Then I walked past my car in the parking lot and couldn't figure out how to post on facebook.  I must be tired.  What a crappy day 50.

-Circuit 1: (5x/2x)
---Front Squats from Bottom up (95# 5 reps, 115# 2 reps, 105# 2 reps. 95# 2 reps, 95# 6 reps regular)
---T Spine Mobility stuff

-Circuit 2: (4x/3x)
---Trap Bar Deadlifts (155#, 6 reps, 135# 6 reps for rest)
---Press ups with 8kg kettlebell (8 each side)

-Circuit 3: (3x/3x)
---Decline Bench (65#, 4 reps, 85# failure, 75# 4 reps, 65# 6 reps)
---Rows off of bar (8 lowest reasonable bar setting)

-Circuit 4: (3x)
---External shoulder rotation w/ elbows out, hands flat to up (5# each side, 10 reps)
---Stir the pot planks on ball (4 each direction)

---Split back squats (front racked 10kg kettlebells, 6 reps each side)
---Face Pulls (30#, 10 reps)

-Circuit 3: (3x)
---Hip Thrusters (140# 6 reps bc I mistook 35s for 45s!)
---Bottoms Up Walk with 8kg/6kg Kelltebell (~25 steps each side)

-Circuit 4: (2x)
---Half Kneeling Straight Press with resistance band
---Reverse Lunge into single leg RDL (15# each side, 6 per side)

And what we all really care about:

CSS WUC, a Tender Violet CRB and the lab Anti-Tank.  And new sneakers.  Hate the colors but they fit.

Day 46

Got home super late from work today so I did day 4 of that 30 day challenge:

I couldn't get to the gym before it closed today so I continued with that 30 day challenge thing, this was day 2 of that chart:

Pretty easy so I did it in street clothes.  Bottoms are still Lulu (DSPs)

About 40 min of basketball drills today.  Shooting and layup drills.

Today was the LAST day of renovations!  Last day I let the closet keep me from getting to the gym, or last day I spend doing painting/carting up and down stairs/hammering/cleaning all day.  I'm not sure which is better :-)  Either way my fitbit said I was really active today and I believe it.

Day 21

No official gym today.  I spent the day doing yardwork and remodeling and I was exhausted from it so I figured it was good enough.  Cleaned out the whole garage and finished up painting the new closet.  no picture, since my painting clothes are disgusting.

Day 20

Dragged myself to the gym on a saturday and went for the most efficient (read: quickest) workout possible.  aka the versa climber.  I also wanted to try to lower my pullup assist weight so my trainer Cory suggested I drop the assist weight and do sets of 6, with 2 in a row, then 10 seconds, then 2 and so on.  Apparently I've been lazy - I've been doing pullups with 60# assist.  I got down to 36 easily for 2 in a row and honestly I probably could have done 6.  So now I'll try even lower next time.

Circuit 1: (6x)
-2 minute Versa Climber Sprint
-6 pullups: 2 then 10 seconds and so on (54#, 48#, 42#, 36#, 36#, 36#)
